What makes this years Talking Philanthropy different?
In previous years, Talking Philanthropy has focused on generational wealth transition, women in philanthropy, mission, and leadership. Talking Philanthropy 2021 will be our fourth forum and first in Asia.
We will look at wealth distribution and the dramatic growth of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) in the Asia/Pacific region, the roles of development organisations, NGOs, governments, philanthropists, and the charity sector in nurturing the philanthropic ecosystem.
Forums without borders
In light of the pandemic and the implementation of travel restrictions and social distancing measures, we have had to reconfigure the event and in doing so, have come up with a new and exciting format, with online participation for the first time.
About Our Partners
We are delighted to have received the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for Talking Philanthropy 2021. We have partnered with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at The University of Singapore, who will be our primary hosts in Asia. Our other confirmed partners for the forum include The United Nations Foundation, The University of Cambridge Judge Business School, Birdlife International, and Billionaire Magazine who are our Media Partner for this event.
“The Event was an eye-opener regarding nurturing genuine relationships with Donors in a Switched-on World”
