Meet Our Speaker

Ms Anna Ainsworth led the Ainsworth family landmark gift to Endometriosis research in 2025 to establish the Ainsworth Endometriosis Research Institute (AERI), based at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and partnered with the University of Queensland, Monash University, Hudson Institute of Medical Research, University of Newcastle and University Technology Sydney (UTS). A globally networked research consortium is currently being explored—comprising AERI, the Gates Foundation, and Alana Foundation (Brazil) as founding partners—to advance progress in the science of endometriosis and other menstrual disorders, and improve the lives of the millions of women with endometriosis globally.
